Client: Super 8 Moncton/Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada

Situation: Located in one of New Brunswick’s most competitive and dynamic business and tourism markets, this three-floor, 86-room property needed to create excitement, establish a profile and start booking business in advance of its opening.  Management wanted an array of emarketing and reservation services, particularly an independent website that could promote the new property and generate reservations.  They also needed these services delivered in both English and French to satisfy their target audiences.

The Customized Intergy Solution: Intergy created a multifaceted marketing campaign designed to generate awareness, interest and bookings for the new property in the months leading up to its opening.  We deployed an attractive, engaging website, which we promoted through our own highly targeted niche and destination travel websites, customized email marketing strategies and by prominently showcasing the property’s URL on construction site signs. We also worked with management to identify and market the property to highly specialized audiences, including people looking for romantic getaways, vacationers with pets and travellers looking for wheelchair-accessible accommodations, through the development of unique web content. To maximize pre-opening visibility online, we created the web content based on extensive search engine optimization research, testing all content for optimum usability, search-ability and appeal to the target clientele.  And we prominently featured grand opening specials on the website to stimulate sales in the lead-up to the launch of the property.

Construction site signs also prominently featured Intergy Reservation’s toll-free number, so consumers could call to book rooms in advance of the property’s opening.  Intergy’s energetic reservation professionals expertly handled these enquiries, promoting and upselling opening specials and other packages.  Our Group Sales department provided Super 8 Moncton/Dieppe with coordinated, dedicated follow up on all group-related enquiries to effectively capture, follow through and close each sale.  Intergy delivered all services – from website design to the email management tools and reservation services – in both English and French, allowing the property to provide full service to all guests in Canada’s only officially bilingual province.

The Results: For the first three quarters of 2007, we have generated $447,000 in revenue for Super 8 Moncton/Dieppe.
